Job Summary:
As the Sales Manager for Industrial Automation, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, developing business plans, and enhancing market penetration in Thailand and overseas markets. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, particularly in oil & gas, marine lubricants, and energy sectors.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve sales targets for existing customers while expanding into new markets both domestically and internationally.
- Lead the formulation and execution of sales strategies for key channel partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare financial plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and the development of a strategic five-year plan, to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Manage customer accounts effectively, overseeing receivables collection, pricing strategies, and initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and financial performance.
- Define market structures and segments, identify targets and their potential, and develop distribution partnerships and customer relationships based on the organization's product portfolio.
- Establish the organization's brand in the market by emphasizing innovation, value, technical support, service, and quality.
- Manage the sales opportunity pipeline and incoming project business, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of sales deals.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote sales of all products, leveraging market insights and customer feedback.
- Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of safety protocols within the sales team.
- Confirm risk assessment documents for related departments and adhere to established procedures for respective areas of operation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend changes and improvements to enhance sales effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing/selling within industries such as distribution centers, service, wholesale, etc. preferred Oil & Gas, Marine Lubricants, Energy, construction, distributors
- Proficiency in Excel, mathematics, and logical thinking.
- Demonstrated success and a proven track record in sales, accompanied by strong presentation skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
