Job Responsibilities
OEM Sales
Lead new acquisitions and manage commercial topics for all customer projects, driving success with customer accounts.
- Acquisition Management:
- Define acquisition strategies for specific OEM sourcing.
- Lead cross-functional acquisition teams.
- Coordinate pre-selling activities in collaboration with Customer Teams, Global/Regional Customer Team Leaders, and the Customer Chief Engineer.
- Select and apply acquisition tools (e.g., battle plans, war gaming, job stoppers).
- Identify customer trends, market activities, and competitor insights.
- Perform sales price analysis for specific products/components.
- Oversee the sales process from initial contact to securing nomination letters.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies.
- Review quotation-specific terms and conditions, customizing as required.
- Manage acquisition negotiations and ensure alignment with financial targets (e.g., pricing, tooling, logistics).
- Prepare and release compliant customer quotation letters.
- Coordinate project handovers with proper documentation.
- Conduct lessons learned analyses for all acquisitions (won/lost).
- Commercial Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing strategies and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Manage customer price validation processes (e.g., 4-eye principle in the Global Price Master).
- Address and resolve issues during ramp-up and series phases.
- Provide best-practice knowledge sharing across customer accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Automotive-related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Price, and Marketing (minimum 3 years in the automotive industry).
- 3+ years of experience in an international organization.
- Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) or Japanese, and advanced English skills.
- Proven experience with Chinese or Japanese working cultures in a sales-related function.
- Familiarity with automotive product development processes (e.g., APQP, PPAP) and quality standards (e.g., QS9000, TS16949).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

- Customer-oriented with a strong sense of service.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently.
- Experience with global sales and target customer mapping is a plus.
- Overseas study or work experience is an advantage.
