Job Overview:
- Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to ensure business growth in the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, both locally and internationally, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Align sales activities with overall business objectives, ensuring seamless communication with the headquarters in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage customer interactions, serving as the main point of contact for all commercial discussions.
- Coordinate innovation initiatives and customer-specific events at the regional level, such as technology shows and management meetings.
- Oversee contract management and negotiation of key agreements, including MPA, NDA, and other specific contracts.
- Align regional sales activities with headquarters to maintain a unified communication strategy with customers.
- Ensure timely and effective handling of customer requirements and requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in sales or business development.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
- Experience in negotiating with Japanese Original Equipment Manufacturers (JOEMs).
- Proficiency in English is required; Japanese language skills are highly preferred.
- Passion for the automotive industry and the ASEAN market.
