- Lead category strategy, sourcing planning, and supplier segmentation to drive sales, margin, and cost optimization.
- Manage budgeting, performance tracking (MTD/YTD), sales analysis, and business reporting by category, store, and customer.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, trade agreements, negotiations, and sourcing initiatives to support growth and quality standards.
- Oversee assortment, pricing, stock, and promotion strategies to maximize profitability and product availability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, support store execution, and mentor buying teams to ensure effective implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (MBA preferred) with 10+ years retail/FMCG or wholesale experience and strong strategic sourcing background.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, business acumen, and supplier management skills
- Able to travel both upcountry and overseas.
