Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 7–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial position
• Hands-on experience in sourcing and procuring heavy equipment and spare parts (cranes, reach stackers, forklifts, terminal tractors, etc.)
• Background in port, terminal, or logistics operations is strongly preferred

Technical & Functional Skills

• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures
• Experience in managing CAPEX procurement for major equipment and large-scale projects
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office

Language & Communication

• Strong business English skills
• Ability to prepare and present procurement strategies and reports to senior management

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• High integrity, strong negotiation abilities, and a cost-conscious mindset
