Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications are an advantage
Experience
- 7–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial position
- Hands-on experience in sourcing and procuring heavy equipment and spare parts (cranes, reach stackers, forklifts, terminal tractors, etc.)
- Background in port, terminal, or logistics operations is strongly preferred
Technical & Functional Skills
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures
- Experience in managing CAPEX procurement for major equipment and large-scale projects
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office
Language & Communication
- Strong business English skills
- Ability to prepare and present procurement strategies and reports to senior management

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
