Job Description
Lead product development and R&D teams for Bakery & Beverage Division, ensuring high-quality, creative, and manufacturable products. Collaborate with QA, Production, and Leadership, and address challenges in flavor, texture, quality, and production process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage R&D teams for bakery and beverage products.
- Check and approve ingredients, product recipes, and taste tests for all new items.
- Work closely with QA, QC, Production, Strategy, Cost Control, and Management teams to make sure new ideas fit business goals.
- Help solve product issues and improve texture, flavor, stability, and production process.
- Encourage the team to be creative and try new ideas while keeping products practical and realistic.
- Make sure all products meet high quality and taste standards.
- Set clear direction for new R&D projects, new ingredient use, and product innovation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Food Science or related field.
- 10+ years in product development with strong formulation and sensory expertise.
- Strong track record in managing multi-specialty R&D group
- Good in solving formulation and process challenges.
- Proficiency in tasting, evaluating, and improving flavors and textures.
- Creative and logical, linking science, design, and market needs.
- Collaborative and effective with cross-functional teams and management.
- Passionate about quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Good command in English
