Job Description

Purpose : Lead the development and implementation of mechanical engineering and capital projects in Thailand. Ensure equipment and technology meet business and market requirements, maintain engineering standards across ASEAN projects, oversee the capital portfolio, and drive the development of mechanical engineering talent locally.

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare basic and detailed equipment specifications, perform machine design calculation of equipment’s from Mechanical perspective.
• Prepare and review machine design with respect to equipment design requirement. Make material selection and do finite element analysis to validate selections.
• Equipment Load and stress analysis.
• Contribute to design process, project engineering management and commissioning process from mechanical perspective.
• Managing the governance of mechanical engineering standards.
• Mechanical equipment strategy and standardization across the ASEAN Region to improve scalability and optimization of resources.
• Project management and delivery support within mechanical engineering.
• Ensure all OEM equipment and engineering quality meets the Mechanical Engineering standards and support local team in compliance of local regulations
• Resource management including capability uplift in Country
• End-to-end talent management of Mechanical Engineering skill pool.
• Safety- zero harm systems of work and Constructability design. Construction risk analysis and review CHAIR.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer or related
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design & manufacturing (preferably heavy industries)
• Good in machine design, hydraulic system, bearing, gearbox & transmission, material selection
• Good in AUTOCAD, 3D modelling / Solid Word or FEA tools
• Knowledge of international mechanical design standards
• Experience in global / multicultural teams
• Good command in English
