Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (Japanese Speaking) to join our team, responsible for sales controlling and commercial coordination across the ASEAN region. This role is specifically targeted at CN expats who have a proven track record in managing complex customer relationships and commercial activities within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships across multiple divisions, including appropriate manpower mapping within the ASEAN region.
  • Align and coordinate all customer-related activities in cooperation with GCT RCT and EO/SO teams in China and ASEAN.
  • Serve as the primary ASEAN COEM customer window, handling general and non-project specific customer requirements.
  • Organize and manage customer-specific innovation events in ASEAN, such as technical shows and management meetings.
  • Lead negotiations of general terms and conditions, including MPAs, NDAs, and specific agreements with COEM customers across ASEAN.
  • Provide agile responses to COEM customer requests, ensuring local counterparts are involved as required by customers.
  • Oversee the expanding COEM presence across key ASEAN countries — Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam — ensuring dedicated capacity to cover all regions effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Strong experience in sales management and commercial coordination within the automotive industry.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-regional customer relationships and coordinate multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the ASEAN region as needed.
