Job Description
- Collaborate with department heads to conduct regular cost review sessions, ensuring cost alignment with departmental goals.
- Conduct monthly financial performance and prepare comprehensive costing reports for management insight.
- Calculate product costs and establish accurate transfer pricing.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including CAPEX management, capitalization, asset tracking, and disposal.
- Propose improvements to accounting policies related to fixed assets when necessary.
- Lead the coordination and execution of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis by comparing actuals to budgeted and forecasted figures; present findings and implications to stakeholders.
- Support cost control strategies and promote ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- 5 years' experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with IFRS, TFRS and tax regulations.
- Background in ERP or SAP.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial data clearly.
