Purpose:

Overseeing and managing sales operations across Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos for all brands within the territory. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue through various distribution channels. Additionally, the position serves as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring alignment with company policies, objectives, product offerings, pricing, and promotions. The manager also provides timely and detailed market insights and competitive analysis to the management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement results-driven sales strategies to sell company products in home, coin, and on-premises laundry markets. Expand sales through existing and new distribution channels.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with resale accounts to position company brands effectively. Understand market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Achieve annual sales goals set by the Regional Director for the assigned territory.
  • Develop strong partnerships with distributor principals and sales teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Motivate and support distributor sales staff to maximize performance. Address issues related to service, credit, logistics, advertising, and legal matters.
  • Implement sales programs, promotions, and strategies to drive revenue and market growth. Support distributors in creating compliant advertising and promotional initiatives.
  • Conduct regular on-site sales training for distributors and clients, covering product knowledge, marketing strategies, promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Continuously assess distributor performance, provide guidance for improvement, and recommend replacements if necessary to enhance market reach.
  • Report new business opportunities, including product enhancements, market trends, and emerging segments, to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows. Monitor competitor activities, including sales strategies, product launches, pricing, marketing efforts, and promotions, and promptly report key insights.
  • Support distributor service teams by facilitating training and ensuring a strong service network.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and product mix to drive sales while minimizing costs.
  • Operate within corporate budget guidelines and reporting requirements.
  • Coach and assist assigned Sales Agents to enhance performance and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales from international industries. (Experience in the laundry equipment industry is highly preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for machinery and equipment is also advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of coin laundry and on-premises laundry products, including corporate marketing, sales strategies, pre-sale and post-sale support, customer profiles, purchasing motivations, and related products and applications.
  • Ability to self-manage workload, deadlines and priorities effectively, take initiative and create opportunities.
  • Possess effective selling techniques and a strong business sense.
  • Able to travel.
  • Good command in English.
