Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support & Administration: Provide comprehensive sales support to the team, including order processing, customer inquiries, and tracking product availability specific to automotive components.
  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret engineering and technical drawings related to automotive parts to understand customer requirements and support project planning and cost estimation.
  • Client Consultation: Engage with automotive clients to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and ensure that products meet industry specifications and standards.
  • Quotation & Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and technical documentation tailored for the automotive industry, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and high client satisfaction in a fast-paced automotive environment.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, generate sales reports, and track order status updates, particularly for automotive projects.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on automotive product developments and industry trends to assist in customer consultations and internal training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related field) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales engineering role within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding automotive engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
