Job Description
Principal Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Search and develop business opportunities in Thailand by maintaining current clients and penetrating new markets.
- Plan and analyze short- and long-term business plans, setting annual sales targets and action plans to achieve them.
- Manage overall sales activities, focusing on key account management and customer relationship building.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Conduct regular visits to existing clients and proactively pursue new business by identifying potential clients.
- Deliver a high level of commercial and technical service aligned with QCDEM as OEM requirements, enhancing the company's goodwill.
- Develop long-term partnerships with key account clients to drive business growth and ensure client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis & Contract Negotiation
- Conduct market research on trends, competitor activities, and client feedback.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients to ensure maximized benefits for the company.
- Provide insightful solutions to meet clients’ technical and business requirements.
- Team Collaboration & Compliance
- Collaborate with the sales team and cross-functional departments to ensure cohesive and effective operations.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety policies and follow standard procedures, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Additional Duties
- Accomplish related tasks as required by the supervisor.
- Undertake further responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, in line with the position’s requirements.
Travel Requirements:
- Primarily based in Malaysia, with travel within Thailand as required for client engagement and business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in the OEM automotive industry; knowledge of the EV market is an advantage.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record within the automotive OEM sector.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO TS16949) is preferred.
