Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced R&D Assistant Manager to join a food manufacturing company and support new product development, product improvement, and process development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from concept to commercialization.
• Develop and improve food products, recipes, and production processes.
• Conduct product trials, testing, and product evaluations.
• Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and other departments to ensure product quality and production feasibility.
• Analyze customer requirements and market trends to identify new product opportunities.
• Prepare product specifications, reports, and R&D documentation.
• Troubleshoot product and process issues and implement improvements.
• Support cost optimization and product improvement projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop R&D team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in R&D/Product Development within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in new product development and product improvement.
• Good knowledge of food production processes, food safety, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience managing or supervising an R&D team is preferred.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
