Key Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Service Engineer to support the repair, maintenance, calibration, and quality inspection of cameras and lenses. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, hands-on repair experience. The position also involves supporting customers and coordinating after-sales service activities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Repair
- Diagnose technical issues and document repair findings
- Repair, maintain, and calibrate cameras, lenses, and related equipment
- Perform cleaning, testing, and functional inspections
- Conduct quality control checks before returning products to customers
- Attend technical training programs as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service workstations
Customer Support & Operations
- Coordinate with regional technical teams for complex repair cases
- Provide technical assistance to customers via phone and walk-in service
- Support front desk operations when needed
- Handle customer concerns and escalated cases professionally
- Assist with product demonstrations, events, and technical support activities
- Perform monthly spare parts inventory checks
Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in a relevant field required
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related disciplines is an advantage
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in camera or electronic equipment repair
- Strong understanding of camera systems, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience working with leading camera brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, or Panasonic is preferred
- Previous experience with camera retailers or service centers is highly desirable
- Skilled in diagnostics, calibration, repair, and quality inspection
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently and manage repair tasks effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic English communication skills are an advantage
- Flexible to work on a rotating schedule, including Saturdays when required
Working Schedule
- Currently 5 working days per week
- May be adjusted to 5.5 working days per week depending on business needs
- Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 18:00
- Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00 (when required)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Performance bonus (approximately 1 month)
- Petrol allowance: THB 1,500 per month
- Salary package will be considered based on skills and experience
- Technical assessment will be conducted during the first interview
