Job Summary

We are seeking a R&D Specialist / Supervisor (Bakery) to support and drive bakery product development within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on developing, improving, and scaling bakery products from laboratory to factory production.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve bakery products (bread, buns, pastry, baked goods)
  • Conduct laboratory trials, pilot tests, and factory-scale production trials
  • Reformulate products for quality improvement, cost optimization, and shelf-life extension
  • Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, Purchasing, and Marketing teams
  • Prepare product specifications, formulations, and technical documentation
  • Support troubleshooting during production and commercialization
  • Monitor bakery trends and contribute to new product innovation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bakery Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bakery R&D or bakery manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of bakery processes, ingredients, and production methods
  • Experience working in a factory or industrial bakery environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
  • Good communication skills in Thai and English

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial bakery production and scale-up
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and Thai FDA regulations
