Job Summary
We are seeking a R&D Specialist / Supervisor (Bakery) to support and drive bakery product development within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on developing, improving, and scaling bakery products from laboratory to factory production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve bakery products (bread, buns, pastry, baked goods)
- Conduct laboratory trials, pilot tests, and factory-scale production trials
- Reformulate products for quality improvement, cost optimization, and shelf-life extension
- Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, Purchasing, and Marketing teams
- Prepare product specifications, formulations, and technical documentation
- Support troubleshooting during production and commercialization
- Monitor bakery trends and contribute to new product innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bakery Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bakery R&D or bakery manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of bakery processes, ingredients, and production methods
- Experience working in a factory or industrial bakery environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
- Good communication skills in Thai and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial bakery production and scale-up
- Knowledge of food safety standards and Thai FDA regulations
