Job Description

Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the Quality Assurance department by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality control and testing systems, ensuring compliance with organizational and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor QA team members; manage daily departmental activities.
  • Design and implement QA processes and testing systems.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and R&D to ensure quality alignment.
  • Investigate product quality issues onsite with production teams.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and customer claims (8D reports).
  • Review and resolve critical quality concerns.
  • Conduct routine audits on processes and products.
  • Develop and enhance lab testing procedures.
  • Promote continuous improvement across all QA systems and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s in Engineering Management preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in QA or related roles, with supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to simplify and optimize systems and processes.
