Job Description
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the Quality Assurance department by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality control and testing systems, ensuring compliance with organizational and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor QA team members; manage daily departmental activities.
- Design and implement QA processes and testing systems.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and R&D to ensure quality alignment.
- Investigate product quality issues onsite with production teams.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and customer claims (8D reports).
- Review and resolve critical quality concerns.
- Conduct routine audits on processes and products.
- Develop and enhance lab testing procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement across all QA systems and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s in Engineering Management preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA or related roles, with supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to simplify and optimize systems and processes.
