Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up machine tools for production to keep them accurate and efficient.
- Perform machining work for spare parts and repairs, including making and fixing machine parts.
- Analyze tool breakdown issues with Maintenance (MT) and Production (PD) teams and take quick preventive actions to avoid repeats.
- Check and prepare spare and consumable parts, keep stock optimized, and inspect incoming parts against the latest drawings.
- Standardized tool-making processes, including setup, adjustments, and preventive maintenance, to reduce lead time.
- Lead preventive maintenance programs: plan follow-ups, ensure parts and tools are available, provide work instructions, report abnormalities with solutions.
- Reduce costs for consumable parts while maintaining production quality.
- Follow and support all company policies and standards (rules, Code of Conduct, data privacy, anti-bribery, security, safety, QMS, BRC, Halal, ISO, food safety, and environmental health).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, or Tooling Engineer or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in Tooling Pin & Die from international manufacturing environments will be advantage
- Good technical skill in tooling pin & die includes cutting tools
- Expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance for tooling
- Ability to set up, qualify, and calibrate tools & die
- Standard tool setting
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, roughness meters, precision alignment tools (e.g., laser, dial gauge), fit and tolerance checks, and torque control
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Technical Drawing (Tooling, Component, Spare parts)
- Management and control of tooling spare parts
- Good command in English
- Computer Literacy
- Able to travel (local & oversea)
