Job Description
Job Purpose:
- Lead negotiation strategies and finalize agreements under optimal terms for indirect purchasing
- Foster strong internal and external partnerships to gain insights into business needs and ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiently, enhance outcomes, and accelerate decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and compare vendor proposals; negotiate to achieve the best value while maintaining product and service quality.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreed delivery timelines, specifications, and pricing.
- Oversee competitive sourcing activities and manage supplier contracts, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Execute strategic purchasing initiatives across various spending categories; seek cost-effective solutions and identify high-performing suppliers.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and promote a culture focused on sustainable, long-term purchasing efficiencies.
- Encourage the use of eco-friendly and sustainable products in both operations and office environments.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Work independently with strong leadership skills to manage and guide multi-layered teams effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or a related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in purchasing, or sourcing from multinational food industries.
- Computer literacy.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Good command in English
