Overview:
We are looking for a Plant Sanitation Lead to manage sanitation, housekeeping, and pest control programs at a food manufacturing facility. The role is key to maintaining food safety, hygiene, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement sanitation schedules, standard operating procedures, and cleaning validations.
- Monitor and update GMP policies; ensure all staff, visitors, and contractors understand sanitation requirements.
- Conduct regular audits across production, packing, warehouse, and utility areas.
- Identify and control pest risks; coordinate pest control measures and follow-up actions.
- Perform swab and hygiene testing post-cleaning and on new equipment.
- Support investigations related to pest or sanitation complaints.
- Maintain records of inspections, treatments, and compliance.
- Provide training on GMP, sanitation protocols, and chemical use.
- Assess risks related to construction and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with hygienic design and manage sanitation budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing with sanitation and pest management focus.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, GMP, and pest control.
- Good English communication skills; able to understand technical documents.
- Comfortable using digital tools and dashboards.
- Reliable attendance and ability to follow company policies.
