Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Operations Assistant Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material and service availability, cost optimization, and contract execution while aligning with company policies and strategic goals. The position also serves as the main point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and relevant external agencies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Procurement
    • Collaborate with regional category managers on sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and pricing.
    • Handle local procurement for factory expenses and ad-hoc needs.
    • Conduct supplier searches and manage RFP processes.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Manage daily procurement operations with fast response to avoid supply disruptions.
    • Act as the key contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring supply continuity and compliance.
  • Cost & Budget Management
    • Support plant teams in executing budget plans and cost control.
    • Assist with monthly purchase price variance (PPV) reporting.
    • Identify and track cost-saving opportunities.
  • Supplier Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key and potential suppliers.
    • Streamline and automate tactical procurement activities.
  • Compliance & Quality
    • Ensure alignment with procurement policies, GMP standards, and food safety requirements.
    • Work closely with legal and government agencies (Thai Customs, BOI, DFT).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of procurement experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other centralized procurement systems is a plus.
