Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain expert-level knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and industry best practices across manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the implementation and compliance with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing best practices, collaborating closely with plant leadership.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
- Support Kaizen events and work with multiple plants to identify and implement best practices that optimize operations and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality teams to ensure all improvement initiatives meet compliance standards.
- Promote talent development and diversity initiatives, fostering employee growth and supporting corporate goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a continuous improvement or operations management role, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, including Root Cause Analysis and Kaizen.
- Experience with enterprise systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
