Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Finance Reconciliation Associate who’s detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about financial accuracy. In this role, you’ll lead complex reconciliation initiatives, streamline financial processes, and provide key insights that enhance cost efficiency and support business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead bank reconciliation across multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee merchant reconciliation, including settlements, payouts, and discrepancy tracking.
- Manage cost reconciliation between forecasts, actuals, and accruals to maintain cost accuracy.
- Prepare monthly cost reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce reconciliation cycles and manual errors.
- Collaborate with payment gateways, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or reconciliation roles (preferably in fintech, payments, or startups).
- Strong technical understanding of reconciliation and reporting principles.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with accounting software a plus.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and fluent in English (both written and spoken).
