Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting activities for a leading life insurance company.

This position suits professionals with strong technical accounting skills who want to grow into a leadership role within an international and evolving financial environment.

You will manage monthly closing, financial analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities and review all accounting transactions for accuracy.
• Review balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and quarterly reports submitted to the regional office.
• Prepare management reports and clarify accounting issues with internal teams and external auditors.
• Monitor monthly operating expenses and analyze variances between actual and accrual figures.
• Represent the finance function during internal and external audits.
• Review cash collection and disbursement processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and coach a small accounting team (1–2 members).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
• Experience in life insurance, financial services, or Big 4 audit (insurance clients) is a strong advantage.
• Holder of CPD License (required).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Good communication skills in both Thai and English.
• Proactive, reliable, and hands-on, with a passion for learning and process improvement.
