Overview:

An established food and beverage group is seeking a commercially minded Trade Manager to lead the sourcing, selection, and management of third-party products that complement its existing portfolio. The role focuses on expanding product offerings relevant to cafés, restaurants, and bars, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this position plays a key role in strengthening the company’s trade product range and developing strong supplier relationships to drive growth, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, source, and evaluate third-party products for trade and distribution channels.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor offerings to identify high-demand and high-potential products.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure strong product-market fit and profitability.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee product onboarding, evaluation, and performance tracking across all trade categories.
  • Ensure all traded products meet required quality, safety, and brand standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product sourcing, buying, or selection—preferably within F&B, hospitality, café, or restaurant supply industries.
  • Strong understanding of operator needs and pain points in cafés, restaurants, and bars.
  • Demonstrated success in procurement, supplier negotiation, and category management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Collaborative, agile, and proactive mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
