Job Highlights

Purpose:

Responsible for managing assigned product lines, including developing product marketing plans, overseeing the full product lifecycle, and ensuring product performance and profitability. Key duties include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to define product roadmaps, conducting competitive analysis and market intelligence, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement short- and long-term objectives and strategies for assigned product lines to drive regional growth and profitability.
  • Lead new product introductions—from ideation to full implementation—ensuring they align with market needs and deliver revenue and margin growth.
  • Monitor product performance across key metrics: volume, revenue, margin, inventory, SKU count, distribution, and pricing.
  • Leverage market and competitive insights to evaluate the product portfolio, identify gaps, and recommend rationalization or expansion opportunities.
  • Prioritize market-driven innovation by focusing on real customer needs (end users, owners, operators, investors, facility managers, and distributors), rather than solely technology-led initiatives.
  • Drive product line optimization through data-informed decisions on rationalization or extensions, managing the process from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless product development and launch:
    • Manufacturing: Align on specifications and timelines.
    • Accounting: Ensure accurate costing and pricing to optimize profitability and market penetration.
    • Sales & Marketing: Contribute to marketing plans, validate pricing, and set business goals for new products.
    • Regulatory: Ensure compliance with regional standards.
    • Engineering: Partner to develop viable, innovative products, support design, and field testing.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and monitor competitor strategies to maintain market relevance.
  • Stay ahead of external influence legislation, consumer trends, vendor innovations, and technology shifts—that impact product design and usage.
  • Ensure effective communication of product updates across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing, including new launches, enhancements, and discontinuations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product management and new product development from laundry or home appliances, or similar manufactured good sectors.
  • Proficiency in Commercial experience with a strong understanding of global markets and financial acumen to assess product-level margins and drive profitability improvements.
  • Experienced in product design, testing, and regulatory/agency approvals.
  • Solid understanding of product and technology both “inside the box” (mechanical and electrical components) and “outside the box” (connected solutions and value-added services).
  • Must: Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, time management skills and Autonomous working (High Say/Do, ability to challenge the status quo and embrace change)
  • Effectively establish, communicate and deliver product plans and strategies
  • Possess strong project management abilities
  • Ability to effectively interact with executive management
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of working time
  • Good command in English
