Job Summary
Client company: Our client is a Global leading manufacturer and trader of processed tapioca starch, production of tapioca starch. Now they are seeking a highly talented QA Manager, Lead quality assurance to ensure all raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and comply with relevant regulations and certifications.
Job Description
- Managing QA department (supervise 3 pax of Supervisor level)
- Leading and implementing the plant's quality strategy, ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and customer standards.
- Being highly responsive and addressing non-conformances, maintaining high quality and food safety standards.
- Overseeing quality management for new products, processing changes, and ensuring alignment with regional/global standards.
- Acting as a gatekeeper for non-conforming products, preventing their release to customers.
- Collaborating on audits and customer inquiries, driving continuous improvement and reducing customer complaints.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of managerial level experience in Quality Assurance, QC, manufacturing, engineering, or supplier management.
- Good English communication skills. (Line Manager is Foreigner)
- Proficient in IPS, ISO 9001/17025, HACCP, GFSI schemes, GMP, sanitation, food safety regulations, and auditing guidelines
- Knowledgeable in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
