Qualification

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometrist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality eye care services, carrying out precise vision assessments, and offering tailored guidance to help individuals maintain and improve their eye health. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vision examinations to measure visual acuity, identify refractive errors, and detect potential eye health concerns.
• Screen and diagnose common sight-related conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and early signs of diseases including diabetic retinopathy.
• Educate patients on preventative eye care practices, including proper visual hygiene, optimal lighting conditions, and ergonomic workspace arrangements to reduce eye strain.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain optometric instruments and diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date patient records, including visual histories, diagnostic findings, and treatment recommendations.
• Communicate test results and provide professional consultation on suitable corrective measures such as prescription lenses, contact lenses, or referrals for advanced treatment when necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when required to ensure holistic patient care.
