Job Description
Role Purpose
The Plant Manager will be responsible for coordinating all plant resources to deliver operational excellence in production, efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the plant manufacturing budget to ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee daily production plans and consistently achieve production targets.
- Manage capacity planning, team training, and internal PPM controls.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, environmental, and safety management standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide performance reports to Top Management and ensure organizational alignment.
- Contribute to the Plant’s 5-Year Business Plan (5YBP) and annual budgets.
- Drive industrialization of new products and adoption of technological advancements.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to manage and optimize the supply base.
- Represent the Company in customer meetings, in coordination with the Sales team.
Direct Reports: Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Safety, and Facilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Proven leadership in production planning, quality systems, and EHS (environmental, health & safety) management.
- Strong track record of driving performance improvements and achieving KPIs.
