Procurement Engineer

Location: Thonglor, Bangkok

Working days: Mon-Fri (5 days/week) – Office based
Salary: THB 30,000 – 45,000

About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer with a growing presence across Southeast Asia. They are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer to join their procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase machinery, spare parts, tools, equipment, factory services, and subcontractor services from local and international suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities with internal departments.
• Review purchase requests to ensure specifications and quantities are accurate.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and lead times.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to support business requirements.
• Coordinate import and export documentation with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• Prepare procurement reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience sourcing from overseas suppliers and managing international procurement activities.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
