Job Description

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in medical technology, electronics, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Calibration: Responsible for the installation, configuration, and precise calibration of biomedical equipment, devices, and related software to ensure they function accurately and reliably.
• Performance Evaluation: Assess the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of biomedical systems and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs of medical devices and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifecycle of equipment and reduce unexpected failures.
• Technical Support: Provide prompt technical assistance to healthcare teams and staff whenever equipment-related issues arise.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation for all biomedical equipment. Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and oversee the timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
• Training & Guidance: Deliver training sessions to clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on the safe and effective usage of biomedical equipment and hospital information systems (HIS).
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables to support ongoing operations and prevent shortages.
