Job Description
- Manage daily activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Oversee month-end closings and ensure that financial reports are delivered accurately and in a timely manner, in line with reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Review and enhance existing work processes to improve efficiency and control.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and corporate governance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with internal finance teams.
- Oversee all tax-related matters including corporate income tax, VAT, property tax, and tax audits.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and technical expertise to team members.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance Operations team and Thailand business units.
- Manage relationships and performance of outsourced service providers.
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when necessary.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in managing shared service functions is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP and Veson IMOS systems would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- CPA or CPD certification is required.
- Background working in multinational companies (MNCs).
- Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese language ability is a bonus.
