Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for a food manufacturing business. The role will be responsible for supplier management, purchasing strategy, cost control, and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and other essential supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the procurement team and purchasing activities.
• Develop procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
• Drive cost-saving and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure materials are available on time and meet quality requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and food manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in Food Manufacturing.
• Experience managing suppliers, purchasing, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and cost-control processes.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English.
• Experience with food raw materials and/or packaging is an advantage.
