Position: Finance System & Reporting Analyst (Contract 12 Months)
Salary: 55K
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Systems & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in driving key finance transformation initiatives, including the implementation of an investment system, automation of bank reconciliation processes, and development of automated financial statement disclosures from source systems.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Process Improvement
- Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of the investment management system and participate in bank reconciliation development tool, including requirements gathering, testing, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with IT, external vendors, and finance stakeholders to ensure system integration aligns with accounting and reporting needs.
- Design and optimize workflows for bank reconciliation automation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Financial Reporting & Automation
- Develop and maintain automated processes for financial statement note preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls in automated reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and disclosures.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with external vendors, accounting, treasury, collection, and investment teams to understand business needs and translate them into system and reporting solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance systems, accounting operations, or financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SUN, Bonanza, RPA, Power Automate) and reconciliation tools.
- Familiarity with investment accounting and financial instruments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
