Job Title: Thai Traditional Medicine Doctor (TTM Doctor) for Cannabis Store / Clinic

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Thai Traditional Medicine Doctor licensed under Thailand’s updated cannabis regulations to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in integrating Thai traditional medical practices with legally compliant cannabis-based remedies, while promoting health and wellness through personalized care and collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 – General Operational Phase

  1. Provide health consultations using Thai Traditional Medicine principles.
  2. Prescribe cannabis-based remedies in compliance with Thai FDA, Ministry of Public Health, and Thai Traditional Medicine Practice Act.
  3. Support the sale of cannabis products and related items ethically and legally.
  4. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and complies with the latest regulatory standards.
  5. Promote wellness programs tailored to individual client needs.
  6. Educate and train internal staff on Thai Traditional Medicine and cannabis applications.
  7. Coordinate with internal teams and external healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.
  8. Monitor the storage and condition of cannabis and health products in accordance with legal safety standards.

 

Phase 2 – Clinic Operations Phase

  1. Screen and diagnose patients to determine treatment suitability under Thai Traditional Medicine framework.
  2. Design and implement personalized treatment plans.
  3. Provide professional consultations and cannabis-based prescriptions.
  4. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in compliance with privacy and data protection laws.
  5. Ensure precise legal documentation and timely reporting to regulatory bodies as required.
  6. Generate product sales in line with ethical medical practice and business objectives.
  7. Conduct procedures and therapies as provided by the clinic’s services.
  8. Monitor quality, shelf-life, and storage of all health and cannabis products.
  9. Collaborate cross-functionally with administrative, pharmacy, and wellness teams.
  10. Train and mentor fellow service providers on compliance and patient care protocols.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid License to practice Thai Traditional Medicine issued by the Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Department (DTAM).
  • Certification to prescribe and use cannabis-based remedies per Thai Ministry of Public Health regulations (including post-2025 updates).
  • At least 1-year of clinical experience in Thai Traditional Medicine; cannabis-related experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the Cannabis-Hemp Act B.E. 2565 and its amendments, especially the 23rd June 2025 updates regarding:
    • Approved medical uses
    • Prescription handling
    • Storage and distribution of cannabis
    • Documentation and reporting procedures
  • Strong communication and consultation skills (English)
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Professional ethics and compliance-focused mindset.
