Job Title: Thai Traditional Medicine Doctor (TTM Doctor) for Cannabis Store / Clinic
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Thai Traditional Medicine Doctor licensed under Thailand’s updated cannabis regulations to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in integrating Thai traditional medical practices with legally compliant cannabis-based remedies, while promoting health and wellness through personalized care and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 – General Operational Phase
- Provide health consultations using Thai Traditional Medicine principles.
- Prescribe cannabis-based remedies in compliance with Thai FDA, Ministry of Public Health, and Thai Traditional Medicine Practice Act.
- Support the sale of cannabis products and related items ethically and legally.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and complies with the latest regulatory standards.
- Promote wellness programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Educate and train internal staff on Thai Traditional Medicine and cannabis applications.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor the storage and condition of cannabis and health products in accordance with legal safety standards.
Phase 2 – Clinic Operations Phase
- Screen and diagnose patients to determine treatment suitability under Thai Traditional Medicine framework.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide professional consultations and cannabis-based prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in compliance with privacy and data protection laws.
- Ensure precise legal documentation and timely reporting to regulatory bodies as required.
- Generate product sales in line with ethical medical practice and business objectives.
- Conduct procedures and therapies as provided by the clinic’s services.
- Monitor quality, shelf-life, and storage of all health and cannabis products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with administrative, pharmacy, and wellness teams.
- Train and mentor fellow service providers on compliance and patient care protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid License to practice Thai Traditional Medicine issued by the Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Department (DTAM).
- Certification to prescribe and use cannabis-based remedies per Thai Ministry of Public Health regulations (including post-2025 updates).
- At least 1-year of clinical experience in Thai Traditional Medicine; cannabis-related experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of the Cannabis-Hemp Act B.E. 2565 and its amendments, especially the 23rd June 2025 updates regarding:
- Approved medical uses
- Prescription handling
- Storage and distribution of cannabis
- Documentation and reporting procedures
- Strong communication and consultation skills (English)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional ethics and compliance-focused mindset.
