We are seeking a highly experienced Account Management Manager to join a leading organization in the port and terminal management/logistics industry. The ideal candidate will drive commercial strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong track record in commercial management, ideally within the port and terminal or logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, expand market share, and identify new business opportunities within the port and terminal sector.
  • Contract Management: Oversee negotiations, review contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements. Manage client, supplier, and service provider contracts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing needs and resolving concerns. Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries and negotiations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to uncover new business development opportunities.
  • Financial Analysis: Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for commercial activities. Evaluate financial data and performance to inform decision-making.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and policies, and mitigate commercial risks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in commercial management, preferably within the port and terminal or logistics sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of commercial principles and contract negotiations.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Familiarity with commercial management software and tools.
