Job Description
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key accounts.
- Create and manage the budget for key accounts at a regional or country level, ensuring a strong and healthy sales pipeline.
- Monitor and ensure optimal contractual performance for key accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities and align key accounts with global or regional strategies.
- Act as the primary commercial liaison with customers.
- Collect and analyze customer and market data to inform customer strategy development.
- Support regional client initiatives and help implement the regional or global account plans.
- Gather relevant information on sourcing events such as RFQs and RFPs.
- Collaborate with operations, product, and sales support teams to update and maintain SOPs and SLAs.
- Drive business growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Provide service requirements based on customer feedback to assist in vendor selection and qualification.
- Offer commercial insights for pricing and rate negotiations with vendors.
- Take on special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong experience in Sea Freight and Customs Import/Export clearance procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of customer service practices with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Capable of analyzing data and statistics and using insights to develop improved solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently.
